This software links computer simulation of drainage areas with geoinformation technology implemented in this PC modeling system. Such an approach unites a strong spatial aspect of geomorphic-hydrologic research area of GIS applications with human environmental issues in watersheds. As a practical implementation of the approach suggested the GIS-Module software has been firstly presented in this paper in terms of its functionality, operational scope, and some basics for users. Few generalized regional examples of the GIS-Module using and testing have been provided.Документ Human geography with geographical information systems(2014-06-20) Костріков, С.В.; Сегіда, К.Ю.The purpose of this paper is to represent that a GIS in human geography is not only a straightforward tool for generating and spatially analysing maps and graphics, but also is intended to identify certain spatial samples and to form new spatial derivative data for reaching advances in human geography research. Digital maps introduced as a paper map effective alternative made possible by GIS. Once introduced by the authors environmental geography concept is additionally discussed purely of human geography contribution to this field by geographical information systems. Traditional quantitative geography is explained to be a key basic for all following GIS applications in geographic sciences. The conclusion is made this field is highly essential for the further GISexpansion within human geography. The problems of this situation were identified and ways for their solving were proposed. Analysis of the population number, density and rural population density by the belts of accessibility of Kyiv’s hinterland are conducted. Spatial difference in migration behaviour and housing construction are analysed. Spatial aspects of the cottage settlements construction around Kyiv are characterized. Specific of the logistics complexes concentration and industrial areas transformation within the hinterland are revealed. Polygonal and point elements of spatial structure of the regional labor market are defined. Cluster analysis of territorial units of Kirovograd region by complete linkage and Ward’s methods is done; clusters of regions in terms of the socio-economic indicators manifestation at the labor market are identified. Typification of the local labor markets of Kirovograd region is carried out. Distinguishing of the sub-regional labor markets in the Kirovograd regional labor market is substantiated. Environmental geography describes the spatial aspects of interactions between the human society and the natural environment.
