Thesis for a Candidate Degree in Biology: Speciality 03.00.13 – Human and Animal Physiology (Biology). –V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kharkiv, 2018. The results of study of immunological and antioxidant status of persons with hazardous working conditions in foundry are presented in dissertation. After preliminary studies which covered 1017 persons: 742 (73 %) men and 275 women (27 %) that work in hazarders occupational conditions 249 people were selected for more detailed study. They were divided into the following groups: workers that were recognized as healthy (107 persons), 101 workers with bronchial type of ventilation disorders (BTVD) and 41 workers with alveolar type of ventilation disorders (ATVD). Dependence of health on the duration of work in harmful working conditions was analyzed in the seniority groups: up to 10 years, 11-20 years, 21-30 years, more than 30 years. The control group included 30 clinically healthy volunteers who coincided with the main group by age and sex, were not exposed to harmful factors of production and had no history ventilation disorders of lung.

Investigation of the biochemical response of young and old animals to the hepatotoxic action of copper sulfate and the effect of biological antidotes. – Qualification scientific paper, manuscript. Thesis for a Candidate Degree in Biology: Speciality 03.00.04 – Biochemistry (Biology). – V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kharkiv, 2017. One of the approaches for studying aging mechanisms is the study of agedependent responses to exogenous toxic effects. It is known that the likelihood of the development of liver damage with the action of xenobiotics on the body increases in the sloping and aging age, although the mechanism of this phenomenon is not fully understood. Сopper sulphate, which is a widespread industrial xenobiotic in chronic poisoning, may have a hepatotoxic effect due to the activation of lipoperoxidation processes. The modern paradigm of gerontology states that life expectancy depends on the adaptive capacity of the organism. Since in the process of ontogenesis the ability to adapt is reduced - the probability of occurrence of pathologies and death is increased. Indeed, with increasing age, the body's responses to the same effects differ from those in young organisms, but this should not always be interpreted as reducing the adaptive potential. Most likely, the adaptation strategy changes over time, but not the body's ability to adapt. A wide range of studies demonstrates the multiplicity of pathogenetic links in the development of liver damage.

Ali Mohammed Mooshly Al-Bahadly. Investigation of the mechanisms of thermoregulation and life expectancy in the experiment. – Qualification scientific paper, manuscript. Thesis for a Candidate Degree in Biology: Speciality 03.00.04 – Biochemistry (Biology). – V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kharkiv, 2019. At the beginning of the 20th century, the relationship between the intensity of metabolism and life expectancy was established. Along with this it is known that hypobiosis may be accompanied by an increase in life expectancy, but no direct relationship between these states is established. The results of today's research suggest that, by regulating thermogenesis as a measure of heat production and the rate of metabolism, it can be influenced by life expectancy. Despite the known facts of the mechanism of thermogenesis, the effect of body temperature on the duration of life is not sufficiently investigated.

Thesis for a Candidate Degree in Biology: Speciality 03.00.13 – Human and Animal Physiology (Biology). –V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kharkiv, 2017. For solving of fundamental problems of geriatric and gerontological health practices it is important to ascertain the presence and nature of possible age-related changes of the immune response to natural and synthetic antigens in ontogenesis on the background of the formation of secondary adaptive immunity. The body selects these or those mechanisms of defense against alien antigens based on their immunogenicity and pathogenicity. On the first stage of the protection against alien antigens the barrier function of antigenpresenting cells, the destruction of the antigen depends on their ability to phagocytosis are carried out. The following cascade of individual reactions which provide the immune protection in all stages of ontogenesis is also important. It is known that in case of insufficient function of one of the units of immunoreactivity can be activated compensatory or a function of other factors of immunity in different age groups.
