Abstract
The thesis presents a comprehensive study of the algal flora of two water bodies in the village of Bezlyudivka — Lakes Pidborivske and Novyi Lyman — in the spring-summer-autumn period of 2025. A floristic analysis was carried out, revealing 101 species of algae belonging to 6 divisions, 12 classes, 29 orders, 40 families, and 68 genera. The structure of the algal flora was analyzed by ecological groups (plankton, periphyton, benthos), and the distribution of species by pH preferences and saprobity was determined. According to the Pantle-Buck index in Sladechek's modification, the average saprobity level is 1,65 for the Pidborivske lakes and 2,15 for the Novy Lyman lake, which corresponds to the β-mesosaprobic zone (ІІ and III water quality class, “satisfactory”). The data obtained indicate a low level of organic pollution, a predominance of indifferent and weakly alkalophilic species, and a generally stable ecological state of the reservoirs.
