Abstract

The object of research is the process of bank risk management under modern conditions. The subject of research includes theoretical, methodological, and practical approaches to improving the banking risk management system in contemporary circumstances. The purpose of the master's thesis is to further develop the theoretical foundations and to create methodological and practical recommendations for enhancing risk management approaches in banking. Based on the conducted research, theoretical and methodological recommendations, as well as practical proposals, have been developed to improve the risk management systems of banks, with the goal of enhancing their competitiveness. The findings highlight the importance of a comprehensive risk management framework that incorporates advanced assessment tools, effective control mechanisms, and proactive mitigation strategies. The analysis of ProCredit Bank JSC provides insights into the current state of its risk management system, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement.
