Образи Александра Македонського в античних джерелах

Abstract

Магістерська робота “Образи Александра Македонського у античних джерелах” присвячена комплексному дослідженню образу Александра Великого у античних джерелах. На основі писемних джерел було розкрито роль постаті Парменіона у конструюванні образу Александра Великого античними авторами а також визначено два головних образи македонського царя: Александра-елліна та Александра-варвара. В результаті систематизації наукової літератури, було встановлено, що у другій половині ХХ ст. – першій половині ХХІ ст. відбувається ревізія більшості поглядів на роль та велич Александра у подіях, а також критика джерел, які раніше вважалися самими надійними. У ході дослідження було виявлено особливості жанру та стилю письмових джерел та їх вплив на відображення античними авторами постаті Александра Македонського.The master's thesis, "Images of Alexander the Great in ancient sources", is devoted to a comprehensive study of the image of Alexander the Great in ancient sources. On the basis of written sources, the role of the figure of Parmenion in the construction of the image of Alexander the Great by ancient authors was revealed, and two main images of the Macedonian king were identified: Alexander the Hellene and Alexander the Barbarian. As a result of the systematization of scientific literature, it was established that in the second half of the 20th century. - the first half of the XXI century. there is a revision of most views on the role and greatness of Alexander in the events, as well as criticism of the sources that were previously considered the most reliable. In the course of the research, the peculiarities of the genre and style of the written sources and their influence on the depiction of the figure of Alexander the Great by ancient authors were revealed.
