Візантійська військова система в ІV–ІХ столітті

Abstract

У роботі досліджено еволюцію військової системи Візантійської імперії в IV–IX ст. у контексті суспільно-політичних змін. Проаналізовано структуру армії, розвиток військової доктрини, тактики та стратегії, а також вплив військових кампаній на її трансформацію. Встановлено, що візантійська військова система була адаптивною, що забезпечило тривале існування держави та вплинуло на розвиток європейської військової думки.The paper examines the evolution of the military system of the Byzantine Empire in the 4th–9th centuries in the context of socio-political changes. It analyzes the structure of the army, the development of military doctrine, tactics and strategy, as well as the impact of military campaigns on its transformation. The study concludes that the Byzantine military system was adaptive, which ensured the long-term existence of the state and influenced the development of European military thought.
