dc.description.abstract | The object of the research is crisis management practices within multinational corporations, the approach to handling crises across diverse sectors such as automotive, infrastructure, and semiconductors. The subject of the research is to establish a theoretical and practical foundation for understanding crisis management frameworks, with an emphasis on developing effective methods to enhance company resilience during global disruptions, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this master’s qualification work is to justify theoretical approaches to crisis management while suggesting practical recommendations to improve resilience and ensure continuity for multinational enterprises like Mitsubishi Group. Tasks of the qualification master’s work are: Defining the nature and categorization of crisis management strategies, specifically in the marketing context. Examining the economic and operational impacts of crises on multinational companies. Evaluating Mitsubishi Group’s crisis management practices, focusing on marketing risks and operational vulnerabilities. Analyzing global best practices in crisis management, including proactive risk management, supply chain resilience, digital transformation, and automation. Presenting the technical and economic characteristics of Mitsubishi Group’s crisis responses. Assessing financial and inventory management strategies during periods of disruption. Investigating the effectiveness of communication protocols and internal communication channels during crises. Recommending strategic measures to improve crisis communication and mitigate marketing risks. Proposing methods to strengthen the company's preparedness for potential future disruptions. The research is based on a combination of theoretical exploration and practical analysis of multinational enterprises like Mitsubishi Group for understanding crisis management, The obtained results are practically significant as they can be used as practical recommendations for improving crisis management strategies in multinational companies. The study provides effective suggestions for enhancing the crisis management frameworks of multinational firms, thereby ensuring their operational stability and supporting business continuity during global disruptions. | |
