Друга битва за Харків (травень 1942 р.)

Abstract

Дипломна робота присвячена дослідженню Харківської битви (Харківсько-Барвінківської операції), відомої також як «Харківська катастрофа». У роботі з’ясовано підготовку, перебіг та наслідки наступу радянського Південно-Західного фронту з метою звільнення Харкова у травні 1942 р. Для досягнення поставленої мети вирішено наступні завдання: проаналізовано джерельну та історіографічну базу дослідження; з’ясовано розстановку сил на радянсько-німецькому фронті навесні 1942 року; проаналізовано плани радянської та німецької сторін на 1942 рік; досліджено підготовку наступу радянського Південно-Західного фронту; вивчено план проведення Харківської операції; показано результати наступу військ Південно-Західного фронту; проаналізовано німецький контрудар та його наслідки; досліджено оборонні бої радянських військ на Ізюмсько-Барвінківському виступу в оточенні. Підсумками роботи є розкриття причин, масштабів та наслідків катастрофи військ Південно-Західного фронту в другій битві за Харків у травні 1942 року.The diploma work is devoted to the study of the Battle of Kharkiv (Kharkiv-Barvinkiv operation), also known as the "Kharkiv disaster". The work elucidates the preparation, course and consequences of the offensive of the Soviet South-Western Front with the aim of liberating Kharkiv in May 1942. o achieve the set goal, the following tasks were solved: the source and historiographical base of the research was analyzed; the deployment of forces on the Soviet-German front in the spring of 1942 was clarified; the plans of the Soviet and German sides for 1942 were analyzed; the preparation of the offensive of the Soviet South-Western Front was investigated; the plan for conducting the Kharkiv operation was studied; the results of the offensive of the troops of the South-Western Front are shown; the German counterattack and its consequences are analyzed; the defensive battles of the Soviet troops on the Izyum-Barvinkivsky salient in the encirclement were studied. The results of the work are the disclosure of the causes, scope and consequences of the disaster of the troops of the South-Western Front in the second battle for Kharkiv in May 1942.
