Інтродукція папоротеподібних в ботанічному саду Харківського національного університету імені В. Н. Каразіна

Abstract

В роботі представлені результати дослідження інтродукції, розвитку, розмноження та умов культивації папоротей в ботанічному саду Харківського національного університету імені В.Н. Каразіна. Дослідження містить дані інвентаризації колекції папоротей з зазначенням номенклатури за міжнародними стандартами, інформацію щодо природніх місцезростань та життєвих форм колекційних рослин, аналіз їх природоохоронного статусу. Визначена відповідність існуючих умов захищеного та відкритого ґрунту біологічним потребам видів папоротей. На основі традиційних методик проведена інтегральна оцінка успішності інтродукції колекції папоротеподібних. Виділено низку параметрів для визначення інтродукційного потенціалу рослин, які характеризують їх загальний стан, здатність до відтворення та стійкість в культурі. Метою роботи стало дослідження особливостей інтродукції папоротей тропічного, субтропічного і помірного регіону з оцінкою найбільш перспективних напрямів їх культивування в умовах ботанічного саду Харківського національного університету.

The paper presents the results of the study of the introduction, development, reproduction and cultivation conditions of ferns in the Botanical Garden. The study contains data on the inventory of the fern collection with the nomenclature according to international standards, information on natural habitats and life forms of the collection plants, and an analysis of their conservation status. The fern col- lection includes 87 species and cultivars belonging to 26 genera and 14 families. Among the ferns in the greenhouse, 39 taxa are characterized by their location within the tropical zone and 14 taxa represent the subtropical region. In the open field, species and varieties with both wide cosmopolitan habitats and relatively narrow ranges (East Asian and North American) are represented. The compliance of the existing conditions of protected and open ground with the biological needs of fern species was determined. Based on traditional methods, an integrated assessment of the success of the introduction of the fern collection was carried out. A number of parameters have been identified to determine the introduction potential of plants, which characterize their general condition, ability to reproduce and stability in culture. 91% of the taxa (including Adiantum capillus-veneris, Cyrtomium falcatum, Macrothelypteris setigera, cultivars Athyrium filix-femina) are identified as promising and quite promising in the conditions of botanical garden culture. The aim of the work was to study the peculiarities of the introduction of ferns of tropical, subtropical and temperate regions with an assessment of the most promising areas of their cultivation in the conditions of the Botanical Garden of Kharkiv National University.
