Хасидизм в Російській імперії : взаємини з державною владою та соціокультурні характеристики

Abstract

Дослідження присвячене вивченню взаємодії хасидів із владою в Російській імперії та соціокультурних характеристик цієї спільноти. Насамперед у дослідженні акцентується увага на ставленні імперської влади до хасидів в періоди правління різних монархів, починаючи від Катерини ІІ, закінчуючи Миколою ІІ. Територіальні рамки дослідження охоплюють всю "Межу Осідлості". Вивчаються імперські закони, що впливали на статус хасидів, а також кримінальні справи, заведені на цадиків. Окрім взаємин із владою, робота зачіпає і відносини хасидів з іншими єврейськими течіями, такими як міснагеди та Гаскала. У контексті соціокультурних особливостей вивчені такі параметри хасидської спільноти, як письмова й усна творчість хасидів, ставлення Православної церкви щодо хасидів, а також хасидський вплив на єврейську літературу та науку. Проведено паралелі хасидизму із західними європейськими релігійними тенденціями того часу.The research is devoted to the study of the interaction of the Hasidim with the authorities in the Russian Empire and the socio-cultural characteristics of this community. First of all, the study focuses on the attitude of the imperial authorities to the Hasidim during the reigns of various monarchs, from Catherine II to Nicholas II. The territorial scope of the study covers the entire Pale of Settlement. Imperial laws that influenced the status of the Hasidim are studied, as well as criminal cases brought against tzaddikim. In addition to relations with the authorities, the work also touches upon the relations of the Hasidim with other Jewish movements, such as Mitnagidim and Haskalah. In the context of socio-cultural peculiarities, the author examines such parameters of the Hasidic community as written and oral Hasidic literature, the attitude of the Orthodox Church toward the Hasidim, and the Hasidic influence on Jewish literature and science. The author draws parallels between Hasidism and Western European religious trends of the time.
