Магія в житті стародавніх греків класичного та елліністичного періодів

Abstract

Робота присвячена одному з важливих аспектів повсякденного життя стародавніх греків – магії, що містила в собі добрі чи погані наміри. Завдяки дослідженню магічної діяльності стародавніх греків можна вивчати різноманітні аспекти життя полісу, наприклад, прослідкувати причини та розвиток конфліктів, що виникали в професіональному середовищі вільновідпущеників, метеків та рабів, дослідити таку категорію населення як жінки тощо. У ході роботи було досліджено різні аспекти магічної діяльності давніх греків та виявлено роль магії у тогочасному суспільстві, виокремлено різні типи магії, виявлено зв’язок та можливість співіснування приватної магічної практики та публічного способу життя населення Стародавньої Греції.The work is devoted to one of the important aspects of the everyday life of the ancient Greeks - magic, which contained good or bad intentions. Thanks to the study of the magical activities of the ancient Greeks, it is possible to study various aspects of the life of the polis, for example, to trace the causes and development of conflicts that arose in the professional environment of freedmen, meteks and slaves, to study such a category of the population as women, etc. In the course of the work, various aspects of the magical activity of the ancient Greeks were investigated and the role of magic in the contemporary society was revealed, different types of magic were distinguished, the connection and possibility of coexistence of private magical practice and the public lifestyle of the population of Ancient Greece was revealed.
