Abstract

Description

The results of cytogenetic analysis of 25 patients and relatives with monogenic dermatoses are presented. Our studies of patients with ichthyosis vulgaris and X-linked ichthyosis allowed us to identify polymorphisms such as 14ps+, 15ps+, to determine the presence of +mar and gh- and find a high level of chromosome instability (1– 17 %). The reasons of total genome instability of patients with different forms of ichthyosis, which is referred to monogenic diseases with chromosome instability, are analyzed.
