Каролінгське відродження

Abstract

У дипломі розглядається феномен «Каролінгського відродження» – періоду культурних змін в Західній Європі у VIII - IX ст. В результаті, автор приходить до висновку, що, на відміну від точки зору сучасних дослідників, термін «Відродження» цілком підходить для опису широкомасштабних культурних змін у Західній Європі VIII-IX ст. Відродження освіти та літератури на латинській мові справило значний вплив на подальший розвиток грамотності; розвиток бібліотек та скрипторіїв обумовив зберігання великої кількості творів античних письменників; наробітки канонічного права стали основою для розвитку середньовічного права у наступні епохи; богословські суперечки цієї доби, по суті, остаточно відділили католицьку церкву від православної, та обумовили її специфіку; у музиці з’являються радикальні нововведення; відродження художнього мистецтва, після декількох століть занепаду, дає змішані зразки, які стали основою для подальшого розвитку архітектури, монументального живопису, та мистецтва малих форм.The diploma examines the phenomenon of the Carolingian Renaissance, a period of cultural changes in the Western Europe of the VIII-IX cent. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion, that, in contrast to the point of view of modern researchers, the term «Renaissance» is quite suitable for describing large-scale cultural changes in the Western Europe of the VIII-IX cent. The revival of an education and a literature in Latin had a significant impact on the further evolution of literacy; the development of libraries and scriptorias led to the preservation of a large number of ancient writers works; elaborations of canon law served as the basis for the development of medieval law in subsequent eras; theological disputes of this time, in fact, finally separated the Catholic Church from the Orthodox Church, and determined its specificity; radical innovations appear in a music; the revival of an artistic art, after several centuries of the decline, provides mixed samples, that became the basis for the further development of an architecture, a monumental painting and an art of small forms.
