Голодомор як геноцид українського народу

Abstract

У дипломному проекті на основі широкої джерельної та історіографічної бази розглянуто історію Голодомору 1932-1933 рр. на українських землях. Досліджено причини голоду, політику і дії радянського уряду. У роботі надані об’єктивні оцінки впливу Голодомору на українську політику та культуру, а також вплив на сучасне українське суспільство. Також проаналізовано дебати навколо класифікації Голодомору як геноциду, що дало нам змогу зрозуміти, як різні країни та міжнародні організації реагували на масштабну трагедію. В ході роботи досліджено політику пам’яті Голодомору в Україні, зокрема роль мистецтва, літератури та медіа. Визнання Голодомору геноцидом є важливим для усвідомлення масштабів трагедії, пам’ять про штучно створений голод має бути збережена і слугувати застереженням для всіх про небезпеку авторитаризму та важливість захисту прав і свобод особистості.In the diploma project, based on a wide range of sources and historiographical base, the history of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukrainian lands is considered. The causes of the famine, the policy and actions of the Soviet government are studied. The work provides objective assessments of the impact of the Holodomor on Ukrainian politics and culture, as well as its influence on contemporary Ukrainian society. Debates around the classification of the Holodomor as a genocide are also analyzed, which allowed us to understand how different countries and international organizations reacted to the massive tragedy. The policy of memory of the Holodomor in Ukraine is studied, including the role of art, literature, and media. Recognition of the Holodomor as a genocide is important for understanding the scale of the tragedy, and the memory of the artificially created famine must be preserved and serve as a warning to all about the danger of authoritarianism and the importance of protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals.
