Повсякденне життя населення Харкова в другій половині XIX–на початку XX століття (за матеріалами періодики)

Abstract

Дана дипломна робота присвячена висвітленню практик та структур повсякденного життя мешканців Харкова у другій половині ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. Актуальність теми обґрунтована тим, що студії з історії повсякдення та міської історії у контексті міста Харкова мають не тільки значне наукове значення, але є важливими і для самих містян. Основною метою дослідження було дослідити практики повсякденного життя мешканців Харкова другої половини ХІХ – початку ХХ століття за матеріалами періодичних видань, а також визначити вплив на них модернізації та урбанізації. Для виконання мети та завдань роботи було проаналізовано низку праць вітчизняних та зарубіжних істориків, а також комплекс харківської періодики визначеного періоду. У підсумку вдалося виявити найбільш та найменш популярні типи житла, роботи, споживчих товарів та способи проведення дозвілля серед різних верств населення Харкова, простежити процес введення інновацій та визначити ознаки модернізації та «прискорення» життя у місті.This diploma is dedicated to highlighting the practices and structures of everyday life of the residents of Kharkiv in the second half of the 19th – early 20th century. The novelty of the topic is approved by the fact that studies of everyday history and urban history have not only a significant scientific value, but are also important for the Kharkiv citizens themselves. The main goal of the study was to investigate the practices of daily life of Kharkiv residents in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries based on the materials of periodicals, as well as to determine the impact of modernization and urbanization on them. To fulfil the purpose and tasks of the work, a number of works of local and foreign historians were analysed, as well as a complex of Kharkiv periodicals. As a result, it was possible to identify the most and least popular types of housing, work, products and activities among different stratums of Kharkiv's population, follow up the process of introducing innovations, and identify signs of modernization and «speed-up» of life in the city.
