Abstract

Робота присвячена дослідженню ролі тайванської проблеми у двосторонніх відносинах між Китайською Народною Республікою та Сполученими Штатами Америки. Розглянуто джерельну та наукову базу роботи. Проаналізовано понятійно-категоріальний апарат дослідження. Здійснено порівняльний аналіз соціально-економічного профілю США та КНР. Розглянуто генезис та еволюцію тайванської проблеми в період «холодної війни». Проаналізовано вплив тайванського питання на розвиток американо-китайської взаємодії у 1990-х – на початку 2000-х рр. Досліджено тайванську проблем в контексті загострення відносин між США і КНР у 2010-х – 2020-х роках.The research is devoted to examining the role of the Taiwan issue in the bilateral relations between the People’s Republic of China and the United States of America. The study explores the source and scholarly base of the research, and analyzes the conceptual and categorical framework. A comparative analysis of the socio-economic profiles of the United States and the PRC is conducted. The genesis and evolution of the Taiwan issue during the Cold War period are considered. The impact of the Taiwan question on the development of U.S.-China relations in the 1990s and early 2000s is analyzed. The Taiwan issue is examined in the context of escalating tensions between the U.S. and the PRC in the 2010s and 2020s.
