Іноземні впливи в місті Харкові в другій половині XIX – на початку ХХ століття

Abstract

Кваліфікаційну роботу присвячено комплексному дослідженню іноземних впливів у житті Харкова другої половини XIX – початку XX століття як цілісного системного явища, що охоплювало демографічну, економічну, науково-освітню, культурну та соціальну сфери міського розвитку. За даними перепису 1897 р. встановлено, що неправославне населення несхіднослов’янського походження становило 10,5% мешканців міста, а іноземних підданих налічувалося 1 864 особи, що створило поліетнічне підґрунтя модернізації міської інфраструктури. Розкрито домінування іноземного капіталу в машинобудуванні (заводи «Гельферіх-Саде», фон Дітмара) та масштабну соціальну активність національних громад. Наукова новизна полягає в тому, що вперше іноземні впливи в Харкові другої половини XIX – початку XX століття розглянуто комплексно як цілісне системне явище.The qualification thesis is devoted to a comprehensive study of foreign influences in the life of Kharkiv in the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries as an integral systemic phenomenon that encompassed the demographic, economic, scientific-educational, cultural, and social spheres of urban development. Based on the 1897 census, it was established that the non-Orthodox, non-East Slavic population constituted 10.5% of the city’s residents, while foreign nationals numbered 1,864, creating a multiethnic foundation for modernization. The dominance of foreign capital in mechanical engineering (the “Helfferich-Sade” and von Ditmar factories) and the large-scale social activity of national communities have been revealed. The scientific novelty lies in the first comprehensive consideration of foreign influences in Kharkiv during this period as an integral systemic phenomenon, rather than through separate issues of foreigners in the life of the city, the university, biographical data on specific foreigners, etc.
