Romanika T.K. Dynamics and Factors of Youth Unemployment in the Digital Economy. Manuscript. The dissertation on competition of a scientific degree of the candidate of economic sciences on a specialty 08.00.01 "Economic theory and history of economic thought". V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Kharkiv, 2021. The dissertation presents the methodological principles of the study of youth unemployment, namely; the socio-economic nature of unemployment, its types, forms and consequences are analyzed. The positive and negative consequences of youth unemployment are classified: socio-psychological and economic. The reasons for the imperfection of unemployment are formulated. The use of indicators of the modern labor market is proposed, which leads to the contradictions of youth unemployment. Youth unemployment is classified according to various criteria, special attention is paid to the NEET group, which reflects the presence of social exclusion. The issue of unemployment in economics has been studied throughout the existence of economics. The paper analyzes the evolution of scientists' views on unemployment.
