США та процес європейської інтеграції в 1947–1957 рр.

Abstract

Робота присвячена комплексному вивченню впливу США на розвиток інтеграційних процесів у Західній Європі у період з 1947 – 1957 рр. Для досягнення поставленої мети було проаналізовано американську економічну допомогу Європі після Другої світової війни. Поетапно розглянуто процес інтеграції через дослідження проектів та ініціатив щодо заснування Європейського об’єднання вугілля та сталі та Європейської економічної спільноти та їхньої реалізації. Досліджено вплив США на економічне відродження Західної Європи, поширення інтеграційних ідей серед європейських політичних діячів та участь в оформленні перших європейських наднаціональних інституцій. Розглянуто методи, використані адміністраціями Гаррі Трумана та Дуайта Ейзенхауера задля досягнення власних національних інтересів, які призвели до успішного завершення перших етапів інтеграції у Європі у 1950-ті роки. В результаті дослідження зроблено висновок про ключову роль США у європейських інтеграційних процесах протягом 1947- 1957 років.The thesis is dedicated to a comprehensive study of the influence of the United States on the development of integration processes in Western Europe in the period from 1947 to 1957. To achieve the goal, American economic aid to Europe after the Second World War was analyzed. The process of integration is studied gradually through overlooking the projects and initiatives related to the establishment of the European Coal and Steel Community and the European Economic Community and their implementation. The influence of the USA on the economic revival of Western Europe, the spread of integration ideas among European political figures, and participation in the design of the first European supranational institutions are studied. The methods used by the administrations of Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower to achieve their own national interests, which led to the successful completion of the first stages of integration in Europe in the 1950s, are considered. As a result of the study, a conclusion about the key role of the USA in the European integration processes during 1947−1957 is made.
