Abstract

Бакалаврська робота присвячена вивченню статусу femme sole в Англії XI-XV ст. Основна увага приділяється аналізу майнових, політичних та соціальних прав і можливостей таких жінок у середньовічному суспільстві. Метою дослідження є всебічний аналіз статусу femme sole та виявлення специфіки прав та обов'язків жінок цього статусу. Статус femme sole надавав жінкам певний рівень незалежності та прав, які були недоступні для заміжніх жінок. Проте, попри юридичні можливості, їхній реальний вплив на суспільство був обмежений соціальними і культурними нормами. Дане дослідження підкреслює важливість аналізу правового статусу жінок у історичному контексті для розуміння їхнього реального положення в суспільстві.The Bachelor's Work is dedicated to studying the status of femme sole in England from the 11th to the 15th centuries. The main focus is on analyzing the property, political, and social rights and opportunities of such women in medieval society. The aim of the research is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the status of femme sole and to identify the specific rights and responsibilities of women with this status. The status of femme sole granted women a certain level of independence and rights that were not available to married women. However, despite the legal possibilities, their real impact on society was limited by social and cultural norms. This study emphasizes the importance of analyzing the legal status of women in a historical context to understand their actual position in society.
