Інформаційний супровід заходів уряду Маргарет Тетчер у Великій Британії

Abstract

Дипломна робота присвячена дослідженню заходів внутрішньої та зовнішньої політики уряду Маргарет Тетчер в контексті висвітлення їх відображення у ЗМІ. У першому розділі описано загальну характеристику епохи Маргарет Тетчер, а саме розглянуто таку ознаку епохи як пропаганда та визначено основні напрямки інформаційної політики кабінету консерваторів. З’ясовано, журналістика у Великій Британії у період перебування Тетчер при владі проходила етап розвитку, який продовжився і у 90-х рр. ХХ ст. Завдяки науково-технічному прогресу збільшувалися технічні можливості ЗМІ, що вилилося у розширення кількості аудиторії та збільшення впливу інформаційних ресурсів на громадську думку. У другому розділі проаналізовано заходи уряду, їх репрезентацію урядом і консервативною партією. Досліджено економічні ініціативи влади та їх відображення у ЗМІ, соціальну політику кабінету міністрів у інформаційній політиці влади, а також зовнішню політику уряду і її супровід у пресі, на радіо і телебаченні. Виявлено, що Тетчер, розуміючи силу ЗМІ, використовувала їх, керуючись своїми політичними цілями.The thesis is devoted to the study of domestic and foreign policy measures of the government of Margaret Thatcher in the context of its coverage in the media. The first section describes the general characteristics of the era of Margaret Thatcher, namely, considers such a feature of the era as propaganda and identifies the main directions of information policy of the Conservative Cabinet. It has been found that journalism in the United Kingdom underwent a period of development during Thatcher's government. Thanks to scientific and technological progress, the technical capabilities of the media have increased, which has resulted in expanding the number of audiences and increasing the impact of information resources on public opinion. The second section analyzes government activities, its representation by the government and the Conservative Party. The economic initiatives of the government and their coverage in the media, the social policy of the Cabinet of Ministers and its information coverage, as well as the foreign policy of the government and its support in the press, on radio and television are studied. It was found that Thatcher, understanding the power of the media, used them in pursuit of political goals.
