Відносини між США та Європейськими співтовариствами у 1952-1972 рр.

Abstract

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена комплексному дослідженню відносин між США та Європейськими співтовариствами у 1952–1972 роках. У роботі проаналізовано основні етапи розвитку американсько-європейських відносин у період становлення та інституційного розвитку Європейських співтовариств, визначено ключові напрями політичної, економічної та безпекової взаємодії, а також досліджено вплив міжнародної ситуації та чинників Холодної війни на характер трансатлантичного партнерства. Особливу увагу приділено позиції США щодо європейської інтеграції, проблемам взаємовідносин між Сполученими Штатами та західноєвропейськими державами, а також трансформації американської політики в умовах посилення європейської економічної та політичної самостійності. У результаті дослідження встановлено, що впродовж 1952–1972 років відносини між США та Європейськими співтовариствами пройшли шлях від переважно стратегічного партнерства в умовах Холодної війни до більш складної моделі взаємодії, що поєднувала співпрацю, конкуренцію та суперечності щодо майбутнього європейської інтеграції.The qualification thesis is devoted to a comprehensive study of relations between the United States and the European Communities in 1952–1972. The thesis analyzes the main stages in the development of American-European relations during the formation and institutional development of the European Communities, identifies the key areas of political, economic, and security cooperation, and examines the influence of the international situation and Cold War factors on the nature of the transatlantic partnership. Particular attention is paid to the position of the United States toward European integration, the problems of relations between the United States and Western European states, and the transformation of American policy amid the growing economic and political autonomy of Europe. The study demonstrates that during 1952–1972, relations between the United States and the European Communities evolved from predominantly strategic partnership under Cold War conditions toward a more complex model of interaction that combined cooperation, competition, and disagreements over the future of European integration.
