Каузальні прийменники в давньогрецькій мові

Abstract

У статті представлений аналіз прийменникових конструкцій давньогрецької мови, які виражають значення причини. Послідовно проводиться думка про те, що каузальне значення первинних прийменників виникло на базі часових значень, переосмислених у новому контексті вживань. Розвиток причинних значень прийменників є прикладом дії механізму вторинної номінації, результатом якої стає лексичне збагачення мови.

The article represents an analysis of prepositional con-structions in Ancient Greek with the causal meaning. In the article there is a consistent emphasis of the fact that causal meanings of prototypal prepositions are based on temporal meanings transformed in new context of usage. The development of causal meanings is an example of the process of the second nomination. As a result of this process there is a lexical enriching of the language.
