Abstract

Methodological recommendations developed for higher education students of 3–4 years of study consider such important medical and social problems as: demographic processes, natural movement of the population; methods of determining and evaluating general and specific fertility rates; documents used to study the natural movement of the population, the possibility of their application; the essence of the concept of «live birth», «stillbirth», «fetus death», birth registration procedure in Ukraine, general mortality, methods of studying mortality, definition of general and special indicators, their meaning and evaluation, death registration procedure in Ukraine, natural population growth, main demographic indicators in Ukraine are described.У методичних рекомендаціях, розроблених для здобувачів вищої освіти 3–4 років навчання, розглядаються такі важливі медико-соціальні проблеми, як: демографічні процеси, природний рух населення; методи визначення та оцінки загального та специфічного коефіцієнтів народжуваності; документи, які використовуються для вивчення природного руху населення, можливості їх застосування; сутність понять «живонародження», «мертвонародження», «загибель плода», порядок реєстрації народження в Україні, загальна смертність, методи вивчення смертності, визначення загальних і спеціальних показників, їх значення та оцінка, порядок реєстрації смерті в Україні, природний приріст населення, описані основні демографічні показники в Україні.
