Feeding of children of early age : methodical recommendations for students of higher education of the 3 year of study in the discipline «Propaedeutics of pediatrics»

Abstract

Methodical recommendations contain information concerning of the policy of successful natural feeding (WHO). The technique of attaching the baby to the breast is described in details, advices for increasing breast milk during lactation crises are given. Information about formula feeding, and the introduction of complementary foods is provided. Methodical recommendations are worked out on the basis of the Program of discipline of «Propedeutics of pediatrics» for students of higher medical educational institutions of III–IV levels of accreditation, authorized by Ministry of Health of Ukraine. These recommendations are intended for the 3th years English-speaking medical studentsМетодичні рекомендації містять інформацію політики успішного природного вигодовування (ВООЗ). Детально писано техніку прикладання немовля до грудей, надано поради щодо збільшення грудного молока при лактаційних кризах. Надається інформація щодо штучного вигодовування та введення прикорму. Методичні рекомендації розроблено на основі програми дисципліни «Пропедевтика педіатрії» для студентів вищих медичних навчальних закладів III–IV рівнів акредитації, затвердженої МОЗ України. Рекомендація розрахована на англомовних студентів 3 курсу медичного факультету.
