Токарев А. М. Місце гасла res publica restituta та політики restitutio у політико-ідеологічному урегулюванні Октавіана 28–27 рр. до н. е.

Стаття присвячена ідеологічному врегулюванню Октавіана 28–27 рр. до н. е. На думку автора, поширена в історіографії точка зору про «відновлення» Республіки Августом у 27 р. до н. е. (все рівно дійсним чи мнимим) є невірною. Не слід вважати гасло res publica restituta одним з основних у політичній пропаганді Августа. На справді, одного терміну, який позначав status novus, не існувало. Оточення принцепса використовувало більш ширше поняття restitutio, під яким мали на увазі відновлення всіх сфер римського суспільства. Це «відновлення» відбулося в 28 р. до н. е., практично відразу після повернення Октавіана зі Сходу, тоді як у 27 р. до н. е. перший імператор лише легітимував свою владу, отримав проконсульський імперій на 10 років. Реформи не були рішенням насущних проблем, а тільки пропагандистською акцією, призваною оправдати захват влади колишнім тріумвіром.

A. Tokarev. A Place of slogan Res Publica Restituta and Politics of Restitutio in Octavian’s Political and Ideological settlement of 28–27 B.C.

The article is devoted to Octavian’s ideological settlement of 28–27 B.C. According to the author, widespread point of view about Augustus’ «restoration» of Republic in 27 B.C. (all the same real or seeming) is incorrect. It is not necessary to consider, that the slogan res publica restituta was one of a basic in a political propaganda of Augustus. In truth, the one term, designating status novus, did not exist. The environment of princeps used a wider concept restitutio, which was meant as restoration of all spheres of the Roman society. This «restoration» has occurred in 28 B.C., practically at once after returning of Octavian from the East, while in 27 B.C. the first emperor has only legalised the power, having received proconsular imperium for ten years. This reforms were not the decision of essential problems. They were only the propaganda action, called to justify power capture of former triumvir.
