Respiratory diseases in newborns : methodical recommendations for students of 5 course of medical faculty

Abstract

Methodical recommendations contain information about the diagnosis and treatment of the pathology of the respiratory system in newborns. Respiratory distress syndrome in preterm baby, aspiration syndrome, neonatal pneumonia is described. Great attention is paid to congenital defects of the respiratory system. The methodical recommendations were developed on the basis of the Program of the discipline "Pediatrics and Children's Infectious Diseases" for students of higher medical educational institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation, approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. These methodical recommendations are intended for students of the 5th year of English-speaking medical faculties.Методичні рекомендації містять інформацію щодо діагностики та лікування патології дихальної системи у новонароджених. Описано респіраторний дистрес-синдром у недоношених, аспіраційний синдром, неонатальну пневмонію. Велику увагу приділено вродженим вадам дихальної системи. Методичні рекомендації розроблено на основі програми дисципліни «Педіатрія та дитячі інфекційні хвороби» для студентів вищих медичних навчальних закладів III–IV рівнів акредитації, затвердженої МОЗ України.
