Abstract

Навчально-методичний посібник «Релігієзнавство» присвячений системному вивченню релігієзнавства як міждисциплінарної галузі гуманітарного знання, що інтегрує історичний, філософський, культурологічний, психологічний та соціологічний підходи до осмислення релігійних феноменів. У посібнику розглянуто основні поняття, категорії та концепції релігієзнавства, сутність і функції релігії, особливості її виникнення, розвитку та трансформації релігійних ідей, а також роль релігії у суспільному й культурному житті різних історичних епох. Релігія розглядається як складний культурно-антропологічний феномен, що відображає засоби осмислення людиною світу, власного існування та трансцендентного виміру буття. Духовно-світоглядні матриці історії представлені в широкій перспективі, що охоплює релігійну, філософську, наукову та містичну форми свідомості. Окремо актуалізовано питання взаємодії релігії та науки, релігії та культури, релігійної толерантності, свободи совісті, міжконфесійного діалогу та особливостей функціонування релігії в сучасному суспільстві.The teaching and methodological manual Religious Studies is devoted to the systematic study of religious studies as an interdisciplinary field of the humanities that integrates historical, philosophical, cultural, psychological, and sociological approaches to the interpretation and analysis of religious phenomena. The manual examines the fundamental concepts, categories, and theoretical frameworks of religious studies; the nature and functions of religion; the conditions and processes underlying its emergence and historical development; the transformation of religious ideas; and the role of religion in the social and cultural life of diverse historical epochs. Religion is conceptualized as a complex cultural-anthropological phenomenon that reflects the ways in which human beings interpret and make sense of the world, their own existence, and the transcendent dimension of being. The spiritual and worldview matrices that have shaped the course of history are presented from a broad and multidimensional perspective encompassing religious, philosophical, scientific, and mystical forms of consciousness. Particular attention is devoted to the complex interrelationships between religion and science, religion and culture, as well as to the issues of religious tolerance, freedom of conscience, interfaith dialogue, and the distinctive forms and dynamics of religion’s functioning within contemporary society
