Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of the national press in Great Britain. The term ‘national press’ is defined. The national press is classified into types. Different newspapers are considered. The conclusion is made that the British press includes all the characteristics of the Ukrainian press.

В статье рассматриваются особенности национальной прессы Великобритании. Определяется термин ‘национальная пресса’. Национальная пресса классифицируется на типы. Рассматриваются различные газеты. Делается вывод, что британская пресса включает в себя все характеристики украинской прессы.
