Фемінізм у політиці: досвід західних демократій

Abstract

У дисертаційному дослідженні здійснено ґрунтовний теоретико методологічний аналіз феномену гендерної нерівності як складного соціального конструкту, що формується та відтворюється впродовж історичного розвитку суспільства. Доведено, що гендерна нерівність не є наслідком біологічних відмінностей між жінками та чоловіками, а постає результатом тривалих соціокультурних, економічних і символічних процесів, закріплених у патріархальній системі суспільної організації. Завдяки комплексному аналізу феномену феменізму, його смислової складової, гендерної нерівності/рівності, визначені принципи їхньої політичної експлікації та запропоновані практичні заходи щодо реалізації політик у різних сферах, адекватних сучасним вимогам та викликам. Здійснено інтеграцію ліберальної, екзистенціально-феміністичної та постструктуралістської традицій у дослідженні гендерної нерівності як соціально сконструйованого явища.The dissertation research provides a thorough theoretical and methodological analysis of the phenomenon of gender inequality as a complex social construct that is formed and reproduced throughout the historical development of society. It is proven that gender inequality is not a consequence of biological differences between women and men,butistheresult of long-term socio-cultural, economic and symbolic processes embedded in the patriarchal system of social organization. Thanks to a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon of feminism, its semantic component, gender inequality/equality, the principles of their political explication are determined and practical measures are proposed for the implementation of policies in various areas that are adequate to modern requirements and challenges. The liberal, existential-feminist and post-structuralist traditions are integrated in the study of gender inequality as a socially constructed phenomenon.
