Abstract

Методичні рекомендації з курсу «Політична філософія» призначені для здобувачів усіх рівнів вищої освіти, а також викладачів, які вивчають сучасні проблеми людства скрізь призму політико-філософських концептів. Видання містить опис навчальної дисципліни, структуру курсу, тематичний зміст лекцій, завдання для самоконтролю, залікові питання та рекомендовану літературу. Виклад матеріалу базується не на звичайних для такого курсу концептуальному або автороцентричному підходах, а на виявленні загальних проблем людства (війни, пандемії, гендерне питання, екологічна криза, націоналізм, авторитарні держави, криза демократії, світовий капіталізм, політична есхатологія та нові соціальні рухи) на початку XXI століття, які створюють необхідність звернення до відповідних історичних та сучасних політико-філософських ідей, зокрема, поняття політичного, проблеми.The methodological guidelines for the course Political Philosophy are intended for students at all levels of higher education, as well as for instructors interested in examining contemporary global challenges through the lens of political-philosophical concepts. The publication provides a comprehensive overview of the discipline, including a description of the course, its structure, the thematic content of lectures, self-assessment tasks, examination questions, and a list of recommended literature. The presentation of the material departs from the conventional approaches typically used in courses of this kind—namely conceptual or author-centered frameworks. Instead, it is organized around major problems facing humanity in the early twenty-first century. These include war, pandemics, gender issues, the ecological crisis, nationalism, authoritarian regimes, the crisis of democracy, global capitalism, political eschatology, and the emergence of new social movements. Such challenges create the need to revisit and critically engage with both historical and contemporary political-philosophical ideas, including the concept of the political and related theoretical problems within political philosophy.
