Abstract
This article discusses the humorous institutional discourse. Such categories as coherence,
dialogicality, informativity, situationality, purposefulness, modality, intertextuality, theatricality are analyzed on the
material of American stand-up comedians’ video records. The basic features of the categories are established and analyzed
within the humorous institutional discourse.
