Green & Blue infrastructure in post-USSR cities: exploring legacies and connecting to V4 experience : collective monograph

Abstract

The collective monograph was prepared by scientists from Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, the Netherlands and Estonia during the implementation of the project of International Visegrad Foundation “Green & Blue Infrastructure in Post-USSR Cities: exploring legacies and connecting to V4 experience”. It contains a comprehensive analysis of the problems of development and maintenance of green-blue infrastructure, which are related to aspects of policy, management and technology, and examples of effective solutions. The monograph will be useful to the relevant academic community and a wide range of practitioners and specialists who are engaged in the development and management of GBI in Ukraine, and can also be used in the educational process of graduate students and students who conduct scientific research on this topic.Колективна монографія підготовлена вченими із України, Чехії, Польщі, Словаччини, Угорщини, Нідерландів та Естонії в ході виконання однойменного проекту Міжнародного Вишеградського фонду. Вона містить всебічний аналіз проблем розвитку та обслуговування зелено-блакитної інфраструктури, які пов’язані з аспектами політики, управління та технологій, та приклади ефективних рішень. Монографія буде корисна відповідній академічній спільноті та широким колам практиків і фахівців, які займаються розробкою та управлінням ЗБІ в Україні, а також може використовуватись у навчальному процесі аспірантів та студентів, які проводять наукові дослідження за цією тематикою.
