Abstract
У статті вперше українською мовою публікуються тексти листів усесвітньо відомого німецького державного діяча, поета, письменника, мислителя і природодослідника, основоположника німецької літератури Нового часу Йоганна Вольфґанґа Ґете (1749–1832), що розкривають його участь у процесі підбору перших професорів для Харківського університету.
The article publishes for the first time in Ukrainian the texts of letters of the world-famous German statesman, poet, writer, thinker and naturalist, the founder of German literature of the Modern Age, Johann Wolfgang Goethe (1749–1832), which reveal his participation in the process of selecting the first professors for Kharkiv University.
