Viral diseases of the skin and mucous membranes : methodological recommendations for the preparation of applicants of higher medical education of the 4 year in the discipline «Dermatology, venereology» [Electronic resource]

Abstract

The methodological recommendations include key aspects of etiopathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of viral infections of the skin and mucous membranes. Modern approaches to the classification of viral lesions are presented, and the most common infections are described, including herpesvirus diseases, papillomavirus lesions, molluscum contagiosum, viral exanthema, and other dermatologic infections. The author discusses the characteristic clinical manifestations at different stages of the disease, the peculiarities of the course of infections in patients of different ages, as well as the factors that affect the course of the disease. Particular attention is paid to the principles of differential diagnosis and modern laboratory methods, such as PCR tests, serological tests, and virological tests. The textbook describes in detail the principles of antiviral therapy, approaches to systemic and local treatment, individual prevention measures, and rules for dispensary observation. The final chapters are devoted to cosmetic skin care after viral infections and modern sanitary and hygienic recommendations.

Методичні рекомендації охоплюють ключові аспекти етіопатогенезу, клінічних проявів, діагностики, лікування та профілактики вірусних інфекцій шкіри та слизових оболонок. Наведено сучасні підходи до класифікації вірусних уражень, описано найпоширеніші інфекції, зокрема герпесвірусні захворювання, папіломавірусні ураження, контагіозний молюск, вірусні екзантеми та інші дерматологічні інфекції. Розглянуто характерні клінічні прояви на різних стадіях захворювань, особливості перебігу інфекцій у пацієнтів різного віку, а також фактори, що впливають на перебіг хвороби. Окрема увага приділена принципам диференційної діагностики та сучасним методам лабораторних досліджень, таким як ПЛР-тести, серологічні дослідження та вірусологічні аналізи. У підручнику детально описано принципи противірусної терапії, підходи до системного та локального лікування, заходи індивідуальної профілактики та правила диспансерного спостереження. Завершальні розділи присвячені косметологічному догляду за шкірою після вірусних уражень та сучасним санітарно-гігієнічним рекомендаціям.
