Відтворення українською мовою англомовних економічних термінів

Abstract

У кожній конкретній сфері науки та техніки термінологія є замкнутою системою. В свою чергу, систематичність є важливою властивістю термінології. Конкретні термінологічні системи формуються на базі лексичної системи, при цьому підпорядковуючись основним законам мови. В сучасній термінології, зокрема економічній галузі, зустрічаються терміни, які не зареєстровані у словниках, у зв’язку з чим виникають суттєві труднощі під час перекладу. В роботі дослідено структурні, прагматичні та семантичні особливості економічної термінології. Зроблено висновок, що складність перекладу англійських економічних термінів українською мовою полягає в тому, що деякі терміни є багатозначними; а також, в наявності одних і тих самих термінів, що мають різні значення в низці наук. Наголошено, що для перекладача властиві наступні компетенції перекладацької компетенції: лінгвістична – здатність постійно поповнювати лексичний запас, адаптуватися до тематичних та жанрових особливостей тексту мовою оригіналу; когнітивна – здатність до правильного управління психологічними механізмами, здатність долати стрес; методологічна – знання сутності перекладу, способів його здійснення, володіння техніками перекладу відповідно до прийнятих норм та принципів.In each specific field of science and technology, terminology is a closed system. In turn, systematicity is an important property of terminology. Specific terminological systems are formed on the basis of the lexical system, while obeying the basic laws of language. In modern terminology, in particular in the economic field, there are terms that are not registered in dictionaries, which causes significant difficulties during translation. The work explores the structural, pragmatic and semantic features of economic terminology. It is concluded that the complexity of translating English economic terms into Ukrainian lies in the fact that some terms are ambiguous; as well as in the presence of the same terms that have different meanings in a number of sciences. It is emphasized that the following competences of translation competence are inherent in a translator: linguistic - the ability to constantly replenish the lexical stock, adapt to the thematic and genre features of the text in the original language; cognitive – the ability to properly manage psychological mechanisms, the ability to overcome stress; methodological – knowledge of the essence of translation, methods of its implementation, mastery of translation techniques in accordance with accepted norms and principles.
