dc.description.abstractDuring the war, schools become centers that allow children to receive not only knowledge but also psychological support and not lose their sense of belonging to the community. Therefore, it is extremely important to be flexible in organizing the work of the school and to adjust the educational process so that it is comfortable and safe for both children and teachers. The most optimal and safe form of organizing the educational process under martial law is distance learning. The models of blended and distance learning in synchronous and asynchronous modes developed during the coronavirus pandemic will be useful in this situation. During online classes, teachers should carry out consultations with children, integrated lessons, educational conversations, polylogues, and creative activities. At the same time, in times of war, it is necessary to optimize the teaching load. Classes in synchronous mode are important for students, but the social and psychological aspect prevails over the educational one. Therefore, the number of working hours per day should be at least half that of distance learning in peacetime.
