Psychomotor development of a child : methodical recommendations for students of the 3 year of medical faculty

Abstract

Methodical recommendations contain information about criteria of psychomotor development of children. The method of checking unconditional reflexes of newborns is described. Age characteristics of psychomotor development and signs of delay in infants and children aged 1–3 years are provided. Methodical recommendations are worked on the basis of the Program of discipline of «Propaedeutics of pediatrics» for students of higher medical educational institutions of III–IV levels of accreditation, authorized by Ministry of Health of Ukraine. These recommendations are intended for the 3th years English-speaking medical students.Методичні рекомендації містять інформацію щодо критерії психомоторного розвитку дітей. Описано методику перевірки безумовних рефлексів новонароджених. Надано вікові характеристики психомоторного розвитку та ознаки затримки у немовлят там у дітей віком 1–3 роки. Методичні рекомендації розроблено на основі програми дисципліни «Пропедевтика педіатрії» для студентів вищих медичних навчальних закладів III–IV рівнів акредитації, затвердженої МОЗ України. Рекомендація розрахована на англомовних студентів-медиків 3 курсу.
