Множинність українських перекладів роману-антиутопії С. Коллінз “Голодні ігри”

Abstract

Як один із видів людської діяльності, переклад сприяє забезпеченню вербальної комунікації між представниками різних народів, культур і мов шляхом передачі змісту інформації, зафіксованої в писемній або усній формі засобами однієї мови, за допомогою засобів іншої мови, а відтак постійно стикається з різними проблемами і труднощами. З точки зору лінгвістичного перекладознавства, множинність перекладів є природною частиною перекладацької практики, яка спирається на теорію еквівалентності. В роботі наведено аналітичний огляд науково-методичної літератури з питань перекладу, його класифікацій, проблем сучасного художнього перекладу і безпосередньо обраної теми дослідження – множинності перекладів, розглянуто матеріал дослідження, зокрема відомості про автора роману і перекладачів, сюжет і тематику обраного роману. Детально проаналізована прикладова база дослідження, тобто обрані одиниці, наведено приклади українських перекладів у контексті, а також опис схожих і відмінних рис у двох перекладах.As one of the types of human activity, translation contributes to ensuring verbal communication between representatives of different peoples, cultures and languages ​​by transferring the content of information recorded in written or oral form by means of one language, by means of another language, and therefore constantly faces various problems and difficulties. From the point of view of linguistic translation studies, the plurality of translations is a natural part of translation practice, which is based on the theory of equivalence. The paper provides an analytical review of the scientific and methodological literature on translation, its classifications, problems of modern literary translation and the directly selected topic of the study – the plurality of translations, the research material is considered, in particular, information about the author of the novel and translators, the plot and theme of the selected novel. The case study base of the study, i.e. selected units, is analyzed in detail, examples of Ukrainian translations in context are given, as well as a description of similar and different features in two translations.
