Abstract

The article studies such stylistic means as metaphor and metonymy as markers of the discrimination strategy in German publicistic discourse on the material of the modern press. Some definitions and an overview of theories of metaphor are given, the types of metaphorical metonymy and nominations are considered. On example of an analysis of discriminatory utterances in context the most common models of such nominations are highlighted.
